Social Skills Group

At times, we may feel misunderstood and struggle to communicate our feelings effectively. For those with autism or ADHD, this can be a regular struggle as emotional regulation and understanding of social cues, such as body language, are often lacking. Connection with others becomes increasingly difficult when we are not aware of our own emotions and fail to understand others’ feelings. Sadly, this can keep us from connecting socially and lead to isolation. Through our Social Skills Group, we will focus on emotional regulation, role play, and social cue identification to help overcome these obstacles. We will even have planned outings to practice your new skills to help you flourish into a social butterfly.
